As organisations change and employee expectations shift, leadership capabilities are being redesigned. In this program we work with you to build your Leadership with Purpose style by exposing you to the demands of the new leadership models, provide the experience of new skills and create new ways of managing challenging leadership situations.
Our 2-day program, part of our Growth and Development suite of programs, can be offered as a basic program for young leaders, or as an advanced program for people wanting to refine their leadership skills. We can offer the program anywhere in Australia, and arrangements can be made to run it elsewhere. Periodically offered as a public course, it can also be run in-house. Contact us for further details.
Outcomes
The Leadership with Purpose program will provide personalised reports and you will:
- Understand how leadership is changing and the new skills and capabilities that the change demands
- Have a toolkit of approaches designed for the new demands of leadership
- Know your own leadership style and how you can bring the best out in people
- Design your own Leadership with Purpose style by reorienting your current style and integrating new skills
Who Should Attend
This program is suitable for emerging managers and leaders and those more seasoned. It is also suitable for individuals or teams that need to provide non-positional leadership to the rest of the organisation, and for anyone interested in leadership.
Program Outline
The two day program is tailored for the participants or organisation. The program can be offered as an introductory program for new leaders or as an advanced program for experienced leaders. The program may include content such as the modules below, which can also be offered as shorter Team workshops.
- Building Self Awareness – understanding your own leadership style and how to use your strengths to best facilitate performance
- Leading with Emotional Intelligence
- The place of values, visions and other strategic drivers in the workplace
- Creating a collaborative culture in teams and across teams
- Communication styles for best results – including giving feedback and performance reviews, for conflict situations, for energising people and teams, for negotiating and influencing
- Building performing teams, and avoiding the Five Dysfunctions of a Team
- Dealing with bullying in the workplace
- Maintaining balance and wellness in the workplace – and do yoga and mindfulness have a place in the workplace

Format
The workshop components of our programs are generally held in our offices, from 9am until 5pm. Special arrangements can be made for in-house programs to cater for your organisational schedules.
Morning and afternoon refreshments are provided for public programs, and there are many cafes in the street that offer wide choices for coffees and lunches.
The coaching components of our programs are also held in our offices and are generally of 1.5 or 2 hours per session. Sessions can be fortnightly or monthly.
